Dr. Ellis:

Transhumanists believe that technology can—and should—be used to upgrade the human body and mind. They hope to move beyond ordinary human abilities, living longer, thinking more quickly, and becoming physically stronger. Some even suggest that we may one day transfer our minds into computers or survive for centuries…
